We are Henk and Carolien Peters- van Duijnhoven, married in '92, we have no children, but we have two dogs. We are both born in Groesbeek, in the Netherlands. Henk has worked for 22 years at Philips, Carolien has had her doggroomingshop and was a vetassistence. In 2000 we first learned about the beautiful Costa Rica when we had a holiday here. We were in love with the country right away and loved the beautiful nature, animals and friendly people. We knew then that we wanted to live here. That dream lasted for some more holidays until we found Heliconia island by a real estate agent. Now this unique place is ours and our guests and we enjoy the nature and the temperature.
